Poor People CanToo!

Hello and thank you for taking time to read my thoughts on "Poor People Can Do It Too" I wanted to share with you my story and give you something to think about if you feel that you are poor. I have been in my candle business for almost 2 years and I'm definately not where I would like to be at but it is because I have had the same mentality for the last 5 years. I can almost bet most of you are the same way.

First of all, I have to say, God wants you to have all the true riches including wealth. However, you will never receive it by having a negative attitude. examples: I can't afford it! I don't make enough money to have a home business! Give me a break. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and get up off that couch and change your life. You don't have to be miserable unless you want to be, and doing nothing to change your current situation is a sure sign you enjoy misery. It doesn't even have to be with money. If your fat do something about it. It doesn't take an Einstein to figure out cookies and chips won't help you with weight loss. Obviously, the topic here is finances but I want you to see it applies to everything. I actually had someone tell me one time they couldn't have a Home Candle Business because the government would then stop their checks. I have never in all my life heard such a stupid statement. Do you always want to live that way? I mean I had excuses but I always wanted something better for me and my children.

My husband and I made a decision over Christmas 2005, we will be debt free by end of year 2006. Trust me I will be writing another article at that time. I recently watched Joyce Meyer about getting out of debt. I have always been a believer in this type of business www.moneyfromcandles.com but lacked determination. I hope many of you can join me on my journey as we climb the Tower of Success and leave that negativity at the curb.

When it comes to money, you can do this business on a minimum amount but you do need the determination to achieve whatever comes your way in your heart. I spoke with a 60 year old today and he and his wife really want to start this business. I gave him my best advice to his statement that he didn't have enough money ($47) to start this business. I told him to sit down with his wife, look over their bills, and decide what could be sacrificed to make it work. You will never succeed if the only words out of your mouth are "I don't have the money" I don't know how many times I have heard this, well just stay living the way you do because knowbody can change it but you and God. Really God can only change it for you if you so desire the change to occur and ask him to place in his hands. I hope I have gotten my point across and you all can join me soon.
